Although not an uncommon ingredient, I wanted to share what vegetable glycerin is for any who may not know. It is a clear liquid usually made from coconut, palm or soybean oils. Vegetable glycerin is odorless and has a mildly sweet taste. Vegetable glycerin is a type of sugar alcohol made from plants (some sugar alcohols are made from animal products or even petroleum).
